Hi Murray, Mike,
Thank you for the update and it looks like you are not missing the option but experiencing a known limitation where the Windows App connection bar hides the virtual keyboard toggle when it detects a physical hardware keyboard or an active Bluetooth keyboard connected to your mobile device. If you have any external keyboard, mouse, or specific case accessories with integrated inputs attached to your phone or tablet, please try disconnecting them entirely to force the application to dynamically expose the soft keyboard icon on that connection bar menu.
Additionally, if there are no physical peripherals connected, the missing toggle is often tied to an active mouse pointer redirection mode, so switching your current session interaction mode from "Mouse Pointer" back to standard "Touch" within that same floating logo menu should bring the keyboard command icon back into view immediately. If the issue still persists after trying both adjustments, the application's layout state might be stuck, and performing a quick device restart or resetting the app data inside your mobile operating system settings will restore the proper adaptive UI layout.
If adjusting the input mode or peripheral connections helps bring back your on-screen keyboard toggle, please let me know the result.
Tracy.
