recent excel update is killing productivity by having copilot constantly interrupt with incorrect suggestions. this is not helpful, this is disastrous.

I found the setting that allows me to disable this, but only temporarily. it is not acceptable for microsoft to negatively impact my work with this. I should not be limited to turning this off for only a month, I want this off forever.

At the moment, the Hide formula completion suggestions setting appears to be designed as a temporary opt-out with selectable timeframes, not a permanent “never show again” option for only that feature.

The closest permanent option currently documented is to turn off Copilot for Excel completely: open Excel > File > Options > Copilot, clear Enable Copilot, select OK, then close and restart Excel.
